A dream come true
You guys, this was such an amazing opportunity for me and my photography. Not only am I getting to meet my FAVORITE dress designer, but an amazing group of photographers around the country.
a trip for the books
Starting off the trip at the Salt Lake City airport, my new photographer friends waited for me at the end of the longest airport EVER and off we went for a weekend in the mountains. We had a great time heading downtown for some shopping and tasty food. Having this time before our adventurous weekend was great, we had time to relax, talk and learn about each other. We then took the hour and a half drive into the mountains where Whitney from Little Dreamers opened her home to us for a retreat getaway.
a day full of beauty
Saturday began our full day of the shootout. We started out that morning on a gorgeous hike through the woods, up the mountain, to a beautiful open field of high grass and fall colors. Here we took photos of each other for headshots and of course the sweet little baby, because who couldn't with her fun smiles and giggles. We returned to the house where we relaxed with a tasty taco lunch and great conversations, all planning our shootout in the evening. Time to get the models dressed and ready and head back to an enchanting trail full of fall glory and deep tones. The girls all did sooo good with the directions coming from every which way and maintained composure and beauty! We were able to get so many different angles and backgrounds, this was a blast and so fun to see how everyone shoots alike and different at the same time. What an amazing experience!
